I’m a hands-on mom to my kids schooling. I always make it a point that my kids are properly guided before I leave them on their own. I filed a leave from work to accompany and give them instructions on first day of school. Another reason is to take care of the last minute school requirements and ensure that everything is in order.
This school year, my little girl is in the afternoon class since it's the only available time open for Grade One pupils. The two Kuya’s are still both whole day in school. Kuya and little girl’s dismissal time is an hour late than Yaku.
Actually, I’m a little anxious on their schedule but we have to work it out. I’m entrusting my little girl to her two Kuyas. My little girl’s Ate will just be dropping her off to school. They will be on their own at dismissal time. I'm relying on them and trusting they can manage themselves and look after the little girl until they get home.

MY LITTLE GIRLs SCHOOLING UPDATES
Hi, Everyone! It's been a long while since I have been blogging. Well, I don't have much time writing lately because a lot of things came up and there's something that is keeping me busy these days :).
I'm back to share with you my three year old toddler's schooling updates. We are currently in the midst of reviewing for her first periodical exams and I'm glad that she is very eager to learn.
I remember during her first day of school...
As soon as we reached her classroom, she directly go to the vacant chair in front. And when her Dad approached to give her things, she told him that it is okay for us to leave :). She also voluntarily introduced herself in front of everyone. That's how excited she is in going to school everyday and it even makes her really sad whenever there's no classes.
Her periodical exams will be next week and I have the confident that she can do it well just like her brothers.
By the way, here she is now and her daily get up in school :))....

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Majority of schools have started classes last week. In my boys' school, classes just started yesterday. I have a 3rd and 2nd grader this school year.
It was the first time that my 3rd grader will be staying whole day in school. I took a leave yesterday to observe how he's going to manage his lunch break. It is best to bring lunch rather than buying a meal in the school canteen. I saw the long lines in the cashier and how crowded the place was. It will also save more time if he have his own baon and eat on the covered tables and chairs around the field. I just instructed him to find a comfortable place to eat and then spend the remaining time going to the restroom, interacting with his classmates and no running.
My 2nd grader has a morning class. He has a little complain on his uniform though. Actually I have seen yesterday that in his class, he's the only one wearing short pants. He's supposed to be wearing long pants now just like his Kuya but I told him that his short pants still fits on him so he should be wearing it until the school year ends.
The normal days are here again...My two boys in school...My toddler at home...Me and hubby at work...Hope to get a responsible and trustworthy nanny as soon as possible.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Majority of schools start classes today. And one of this is MJM's school, the NDGM. I'm the one who's very excited on this day. Yesterday, I've prepared everything they need for school. Kuya is in morning classes while Yaku is afternoon. But we still don't know what their sections and rooms are. This will be posted at the front gate today (I hope next time they would advise it earlier, better before the first day of school). Parents really need to accompany the children below 9 yrs old on their respective classrooms because the school is big and has several entrances. The kids must be taught by the parents how to get into their classrooms alone until tomorrow because we are no longer allowed to enter inside starting on the 3rd day of school.
Waking up early is so damn hard after the 2 and a half months of vacation. We need to make this part of our routine again. As this goes along with the baon preparations, homeworks, quizzes, exams, projects and other extra curricular activities.
There will be a big adjustment for Yaku in shifting from preschool to grade school but I trust him that he can make it and be able to surpass whatever challenges instore on this school year. Kuya, I know is already used to whatever norms and practices the Gradeschool Department has. He can even guide or teach Yaku on his lessons. I just wish that he will bring a lot of patience with him in doing so :). Kuya acquires more of his Dad's traits and one of these is....."edginess".
Hope that my boys will maintain good grades, a positive attitude & behavior on this school year.

YAKUs FIRST DAY IN SCHOOL
Yesterday was Yaku's first day in school. Their school was a little late in opening the classes on the first week of July which in fact normally starts during month of June. Anyway, Yaku is very happy and excited on our way to his school. As the teacher approaches him to his chair, he immediately gets his lunch box and opened it. So before he took his early recess, I was able to stop him. Teacher decided to get the lunch box and place it on her table.
When he gets home, he told us the activities they did in school…they prayed, sang and wrote parallel lines. And he showed the two stars at the back of his hand. This is a good start for a new preschooler.
Bravo Yaku!

KUYAs FIRST DAY IN SCHOOL
My husband and I were the one who’s very excited for our son’s new experience. We both took a leave last Monday (June 19) just to witness Kuya's first day in school. I ensure that everything were complete, from his school supplies to his baon. I find him cute when he wore his uniform plus the bag and name plate. His yaya brought him to school, then, we followed later. We didn’t want him to saw us so that he could not get used to it. We stayed there for awhile just to make sure that he gets a nice and convenient seat. Parents and Yayas are not allowed inside the classroom so we just went home and will just pick him up after school. His class starts 9am until 11am.
We’re surprised when our Ninong came along with Kuya at 10:30am. He told us that the teacher dismissed the class early and that Kuya cried in school because he didn’t saw us there.
When we talked to Kuya, he said that he didn’t want us to leave him in school alone so we promised him that his yaya will be there to watch him.
We go back to school and interviewed his teacher on how well he did in class. Ma’am said that he’s participating in the class activities: he introduced himself and sang. He’s just uncomfortable with his cough.
