Little girl chose the design for her artwork and colored it by herself. My job was to clean and wipe the excess colors she made on the pattern edges :). She could really practice her art talent through this. The finished product is an additional design to her room door :).

MOVIE TIME ON CHRISTMAS
It was good to watch local films entry for Metro Manila Film Festival 2011 (MMFF 2011). We watched "Ang Panday 2" which currently on the second spot based on total gross earnings for 2 days. I would have wanted to see "Enteng ng Ina Mo" or "Segunda Mano" but "Ang Panday 2" is more appealing for my kids. Anyway, they had so much fun watching the movie with their cousins. My boys keeps on singing the movie theme song even up to this day :).

HP7 PART 2 MOVIE
After a decade, it is official...this is the end. I can say that we are a fan of Harry Potter movie from its very first series. And now, we got to say farewell to the characters we watched as they've grown up in front of our eyes.

TRANSFORMERS 3
It's movie time once again last weekend. Hubby and my eldest watched the Transformers 3 while me and the two other kids leisurely sauntered around the mall to buy some stuffs.
IMAX tickets for the whole day's screening time are sold out. Other cinemas are fully crowded. Longlines in the ticketing booth and movie house entrances. People are so excited to see this movie. No wonder this is a blockbuster and one of the top grosser film so far.

MOVIES AND THE KIDS
We were actually choosing between Kung Fu Panda and Green Lantern. We ended up watching the Warner Bros.’ new action adventure Green Lantern.
It was my toddler's first time to enter in a movie house. Yeah, I know it is not advisable for toddlers to watch this movie and don't you worry because she didn't watched the movie. She was just busy eating popcorn inside the theater. At first, she was surprised in the dark room and loud sound effects but after a few minutes she already get used to it. Some scenes were catching her attention and she's helping me explaining these are only part of the movie :).

THE SMURFS
Smurfs is the first GP movie in big screen my tot has watched. At first, she was so excited to see the smurfs but as the movie begins, she started to get bored. She's watching some scenes but not as focused as her two brothers when they were the same age as her. And just like the other movies we've watched, she's only interested with popcorn and the people behind us but not on the movie itself. She even fell asleep inside the movie theater.
Smurfs is a funny movie. The boys enjoyed watching it and were so entertained by the story.
The picture below was taken when my boys watched the Transformers last month. My little girl was so delighted to see the smurfs then :)...

OUR HECTIC WEEKEND
We have a busy schedule this past weekend. As part of our celebration, we stayed overnight in hotel. Though it's freezing cold in roofdeck, the kids still managed to dip in the pool. They also take a leisure on our room's bath tub even if the bubble bath soap is not sufficient enough for all of them.
On the next day, we proceed to the mall to do some christmas shopping. I just made a quick round to look for my two boys gifts in school. We brought our little girl to the playroom then, the four of us watched The Harry Potter movie in Imax.
Take a glimpse of our photos:

IRON MAN 2
We watched the Iron Man 2 last Monday. My sons have an excellent convincing power in doing so. It was Kuya's favorite fictional character. We even bought him an iron man toy as a christmas present 2 years ago. It was a good movie and as exciting as the part 1.

Before going to the theater, this 3D booth catches our attention...

AVATAR IN IMAX 3D THEATRE
While waiting for our tickets...
Inside the theatre...
Yesterday, we watched Avatar in SM North Edsa Imax Theatre. We're all very excited because this was our first time to see a movie in IMAX. It's funny to see Kuya and Yaku's reaction while they watched the movie. Our friends were right...it is best to watch Avatar in IMAX. You can feel every scene right in front of you because of the pronounced 3D effect, clear picture and sounds that you cannot experience anywhere else. I can say that the money spent is all worth it :)

FIRST TIME IN BIG SCREEN
Last Saturday, we watched the animated sequel “Ice Age: The Meltdown” in SM North Edsa. We have long-awaited for this movie and finally, our kids had already seen it.
Since it is a new experience for MJM to watch in big screen, there is a brief orientation with them a week ago about how it looks like. As we entered in the theater room, the two boys affirmed what we have said about the big dark room and a huge television screen.
At first, they were hesitant because of the 30 minutes movie trailers. They impatiently waited until the movie started. As the Ice Age begins, the two were fully focused and asking for the familiar characters they have seen in the previous sequel.
The movie lasted an hour and a half. And I knew my two sons really enjoyed it.
Hmmm? I wonder what will be the next good movie to watch…
