These are the things that kept us busy in observing the Holy Week...
On Maundy Thursday
MIL invited us to go with her to the church. She asked us to bring white towels because we have a participation in the mass.
The gospel was about "The Last Supper". The priest and 12 other men re-enacted the last supper including the washing of feet that Jesus did to all his disciples. We all thought that finishes the act.

HOLY WEEK
We are all offering different sacrifices.....
and we are all observing different traditions.....
but let us not forget to put God in the center of our holy week celebration.

HOLY WEEK
We just stayed home during the Holy Week. Hubby has work on Maundy Thursday. I wanted to go to church but I couldn't bring the kids there without him. So it's just simply family bonding time at home.

OUR SUMMER VACATION
Note: This is a delayed post. Published on 6/30/09
We spent the Holy Week Vacation in Binmaley, Pangasinan. This was also a get together which intended to welcome our Balikbayans that have stayed here in Manila for a couple of weeks. The kids extended their vacation for one more week to take a tour on the nearby town provinces like Subic and Baguio.
Day 1 - Good Friday
We arrived there at past 1 in the afternoon. The whole clan stayed at home and spent
the time chatting and eating.
Day 2 - Black Saturday
In the morning, the kids went to Palaisdaan to watch how the "Manongs" catch the fish. While in the afternoon, the kids enjoyed swimming in the town's open beach.
Day 3 - Easter Saturday
The kids were busy hunting the easter eggs. Kuya & Yaku truly enjoyed this activity. during lunch, a sumptuous meal was served including the yummy lechon which was specially roasted in the garden.
At past 4 in the afternoon, half of the clan (including me and little girl) went home to prepare for tomorrow's working day. Hubby go with us on our way back home. Kuya and Yaku stayed in Pangasinan with their cousins.
Day 4
Hubby went back to Pangasinan and spent their whole day in a swimming pool resort.
Day 5

Day 6
Rest day...
Day 7
