The invitation...
Their invitation's logo is usually made yearly by the Best Poster Making Grade Six pupil. I'm so amazed by this kind of talent which truly deserves an appreciation.
Logo rational: The two hands signify God's hands as he holds the world with love. The persons and the Notre Dame seal in the middle mean the youth of Notre Dame are formed together and united as one as they spread God's love and mercy to the world. The little hearts that are drawn on the person's chests and Jesus' cross in the middle convey that we should have a heart like His and that we inspire others to have one too.

YAKUs GRADUATION DAY
The program starts with the graduates processional march together with the parents as the Kinder Department including the School Director welcome and greet each family in the entrance hall. There were 143 Kinder graduates yesterday (nice number huh?). Their voices echoed in the Gymnasium as they sang their graduation song entitled "Yesterday's Dream". The song interpretation by the graduates was impressive. All of us were there to witness this event (even our little girl :)).
We ate lunch at Shakeys after the ceremony. Kuya wasn't able to join us because he has classes. We just brought him a take out meal where he can enjoy at home.

YAKU AS THE MOST OUTSTANDING STUDENT
Yaku, awarded as the class First Honors rendered a speech to his classmates last April 4. He was the only one who was able to deliver the speech clearly and independently. He has proven that he really deserves to be on the top.

DCC UNIT 2 BRGY 100, GRADUATION DAY
It was held last Friday, March 23 at around 1pm in Gregoria de Jesus Elementary School, a mass graduation of the 15 Barangay Day Care Centers in Kalookan.
The preschools were adorable in their white suit with toga. The program started by a graduation march, the graduates with their parents lead by the Day Care Teachers and Barangay Captains.
The weather was really hot during this day. Other students were already having tantrums because of the weather plus their uncomfortable togas. In spite of this, Kuya manages to be calm and was properly seated on his chair from the start until the end of the program.
The top 3 students of each class were called for the awarding ceremonies. Students were orderly called for the giving of certificates. Yaku is cheerfully applauding for his Kuya whenever it is called on the stage, a very supportive brother indeed :-)
