We were the first one to arrive because we're nearest to the venue. So we've shoot some photos while we're alone :).

HOLIDAY SEASON 2015
As I wake up on the first day of new year, I ponder on my life last 2015 and how to achieve my new goals for 2016. Looking back...We thank Our Good Lord for all the blessings we have received, memories kept and lessons learned from the past year. May the year 2016 be a wonderful and bright year to us all!

FAMILY DATE
Last Saturday, we went out to watch a movie and do some artwork. It is actually scheduled two weeks ago but it has been delayed due to hubby's super busy schedule :). It is a family date and our means of taking a break after the stressful exam week.
Little girl chose the design for her artwork and colored it by herself. My job was to clean and wipe the excess colors she made on the pattern edges :). She could really practice her art talent through this. The finished product is an additional design to her room door :).

FAMILY SWIMMING
A planned swimming affair with my entire maternal family last Saturday :). It is everyone's last request to make the most of summer vacation before the school opens.
It is a family get-together and advance celebration of my niece’s college graduation. Everyone is awaiting for this event. The kids are excited as well and even doing countdowns as to how many days/sleep more before the event.
We reserved a private resort for the whole day affair. Food was on a potluck basis. Lechon was also present (yum!).

FAMILY SUMMER FESTIVAL
The event's theme is "Fiesta" or "Festival". It was organized by my cousin and his family. And was held last Easter Sunday at their residence in Panghulo, Obando Bulacan.
Firstly, take a look at the photos of this very excited little girl as she jumps for joy while we're waiting for the others to arrive...

FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY 2014
It's the most wonderful time of the year and it's the happiest season of all as the song says. Christmas is the season of spreading good cheer, of spending time with your family and of sharing, caring and giving.
For us, Christmas is the best time for family reunion. This season, we held it in my Aunt's place in Malabon. My cousins organized the event. There are family and kids games, song and dance presentations, and of course our favorite part of the program...the raffle prizes :). Here are some of our photos:

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
Being a predominantly Catholic nation, Christmas is the most awaited and celebrated holiday in the Philippines. Traditions abound as well in various parts of our country during this wonderful time of the year.
Our family's customary celebration includes attending mass and family feast on Christmas Eve...Visiting our family & friends and gift giving on Christmas Day.

CHRISTMAS: A TIME FOR FAMILY REUNION
Christmas is the season of spreading good cheer, of spending time with your family and of sharing, caring and giving. We are indeed thankful for having been blessed with a good family and great kids.
Every Christmas, we take every opportunity to bond with our family and make the most of our relations with them. We spent most of the day in my hometown. There were a lot of activities prepared for the entire day. We had exchange gifts and made the afternoon lively with our selection of traditional parlor games.

MOMMY MOMENTS - NEW FAMILY PHOTO
Our new family photo was taken on New Year's Eve. Our color theme is RED. Since no one was there to take our pictures, we use our tripod and try different poses in front of the camera.
And this is my favorite family photo because my little girl is looking and smiling here...

CHRISTMAS IN MY HOMETOWN
Did you enjoy your Christmas celebrations with family, loved ones and friends?
We really had so much fun in celebrating Christmas with the whole family in my hometown. Aside from the gift giving distributed by those generous family members, we also had our yearly exchange gifts which are now divided into two parts. The first part is for the kids and the other one is for us. Everybody was happy in receiving their wish gifts. We hosted party games for both the kids and adults. Thank you so much for our special guests for sponsoring the major prizes and to all who contributed for the additional prizes.

MOMMY MOMENTS - LAST CHRISTMAS
Last christmas, a traditional maternal family reunion was held in my hometown. After so many years, we were able to visit my paternal relatives and it was a joy to see all of them again.
It has been a stressful day for me as i need to entertain visitors and look after my little girl simultaneously. My hubby has work that day and just followed us in the afternoon. She doesn't want to be with anybody else except me and her Dad.
It was non-stop eating and chitchatting with relatives and friends.
Only 22 days to go and we will celebrate this holiday season once again with the whole family. Let us not forget the true meaning of christmas...share our love and blessings to everyone.
Advance Merry Christmas to my dear bloggers and readers!!!

FAMILY DAY OUT - PART 2
The pictures have been developed yesterday and it was all fabulous. It was safely packed and labeled. The picture quality is vivid.
It was a one hour photo session. During the last part, Majja was tired and not in the mood already. You can see it in her face. She wasn't smiling anymore and she's taking off her bow.
Thanks to our photographer that she's still able to take the shot perfectly. The staffs were very friendly and they've done best in trying to get our attention and close up smiles.
Portraits enlarged for framing...

MINI POOL PARTY AT VILLANUEVAs
Note: This is a delayed post.
Francis organized the said event. Giveaways and lootbags were distributed among the kids. The one that actually surprised us was the unexpected visit of my dearest aunt here in Manila. She said that it was an unplanned trip and took the opportunity of being a chance passenger just to see us all. We're all touched because we really missed her as much as she misses us.
Thank you for the pasalubongs Tita....we love you!!!

OUR SUMMER VACATION
Note: This is a delayed post. Published on 6/30/09
We spent the Holy Week Vacation in Binmaley, Pangasinan. This was also a get together which intended to welcome our Balikbayans that have stayed here in Manila for a couple of weeks. The kids extended their vacation for one more week to take a tour on the nearby town provinces like Subic and Baguio.
Day 1 - Good Friday
We arrived there at past 1 in the afternoon. The whole clan stayed at home and spent
the time chatting and eating.
Day 2 - Black Saturday
In the morning, the kids went to Palaisdaan to watch how the "Manongs" catch the fish. While in the afternoon, the kids enjoyed swimming in the town's open beach.
Day 3 - Easter Saturday
The kids were busy hunting the easter eggs. Kuya & Yaku truly enjoyed this activity. during lunch, a sumptuous meal was served including the yummy lechon which was specially roasted in the garden.
At past 4 in the afternoon, half of the clan (including me and little girl) went home to prepare for tomorrow's working day. Hubby go with us on our way back home. Kuya and Yaku stayed in Pangasinan with their cousins.
