Last Saturday, we went to Subic for Majja's field trip. There were only two destinations: Zoobic Safari and Ocean Adventure. It was my toddler's first field trip and her first time in zoo.

EXPOSURE TRIP 2010
My boys are having an exposure trip today and on the 16th. Yes, it is two separate dates. The exposure trip is done on a per grade school level. This is the first time they'll be out there by themselves. Gradeschoolers are not allowed to be accompanied by parents on their trip. I'll admit that i'm very anxious on what might happen to them on this day. But I guess its about time to trust my kids and see how they manage themselves independently.
Itineraries are:
1. The Pasig Centrum and Library
2. Learning Resources (in Pasig City)
3. Science Discovery Center (in Mall of Asia, Pasay City)
4. Lights and Sounds (in Intramuros, Manila)
This activity is an extension of the learning process and will be a part of their lessons and evaluation.

MY BOYs EXPOSURE TRIP
See MJMs adventure in Bio Research and Dinos Alive pictures. It was both educational, fun and bonding activity experience for my two sons.
Bio Research in Paranaque
It is a distributer, wholesaler, retailer and importer of high quality pets and pet products in the Philippines. MJM enjoyed viewing the variety of fish, pet animals and insects.
A free gold fish was given to each visitor. MJM was so eager to keep the fishes and begging us to be have this as their pet.
Dinos Live World Tour in Manila (beside SM Mall of Asia)
It is a travelling exhibit which adopts a themed-park environment. An authentic prehistoric recreation of the Jurassic period displays more than 30 life-size robotic dinosaurs including a spectacular 30 feet T-Rex.

YAKUs FIELD TRIP
Last Saturday was Yaku's field trip in Laguna. Our first stop was the Galinco factory. This is where the Chips Delight and Smiley cookies are being made. We were supposed to go to the Yakult factory but due to postponement of this field trip last Thursday, we were forced to schedule it on a weekend in which the factory was closed. So we instead go to the Rizal Shrine in Calamba Laguna. I wonder why the facilitator came up with this idea because the Nursery and Kinder students didn’t have much idea who Rizal was and wasn’t interested on his house nor his memorabilias.
We intended to eat lunch at MOA but unfortunately before we leave the Rizal Shrine, the coaster got flat. So we just ate lunch in the nearest carinderia and waited for almost an hour until the tires were fixed.
We reached MOA at past 1PM and sauntered for 2 hours. Our final destination was the Global Fun Carnival at the back of MOA. It is an open field carnival with same set up that is similar to Star City. Difference is less food choices and you need to pay a separate ticket for the shows. This is the place where the children enjoyed most because they can go as many times as they want in all the rides.
