KUYA AT FOUR

We celebrated Kuya's birthday yesterday at the Manila Zoo. Kids love animals so we decided to give in to their request.

Last Tuesday, March 6, I just bought him a cake and sang a birthday song lead by Yaku :) We lighted four candles on it and ask him to close his eyes and make a wish first before blowing the candles. This simple celebration makes this day a memorable one for my son.

MJM AT THE ZOO

My kids were filled with astonishment as they were able to see the animals at the zoo. Especially their much loved animals: elephant & giraffe. It happened that only the elephant was there, no giraffe. Though a little bit disappointed, we just took some pictures on the giraffe effigy at the zoo park. However, the kids were even more satisfied with the giraffe effigy because they can embrace and cling to it.

The kids were amazed to see how the real elephant looks like. We kept coming back on the elephant’s cage because MJM were very much entertained studying the elephant as it walked back & forth within the cage. We even came to a point that they didn’t want to go home and left the elephant.

They had also liked the fish, monkey, turtle, tiger and zebra. But we only took a glimpse of these animals.
