Prior to this, take a peek on our preparation for the costumes and accessories needed for their dance presentation. Last year was more manageable because the class advisers helped in preparing the accessories unlike now, we had to do it by ourselves. We're actually busy preparing all these last week.
We bring along our little one to watch the presentation. It was her first time to see her brothers dancing. Hubby was in charge with the video while me on the camera. I had a hard time taking pictures and looking after my little one. She's in a bad mood that morning because of humidity and the big crowd.
Grades 1 to 6 theme presentation is about the "Story of God's Creation". The Grade 3 pupils (JMs group) presented the "Land and its creatures" while the Grade 4 pupils (MJs group) presented the "Sun, Moon and the Stars". The competition is subdivided into 2 groups from which has 3 grade levels each. Grades 1 to 3 and Grade 4 to 6 are competing respectively.
JMs group presentation was great. They had several group formation which emphasizes the different land creations. MJs group has an excellent taste of costume and dance steps but didn't focus enough on their theme presentation. As a result, JMs group won the first place while MJs group was announced as third place.
After their performance, we let them play in fun games and rides. My little one enjoyed the Inflatable Playground while my boys' favorite ride is Anchor's Away. We all had a blast that day.
