Yesterday, was Kuya's school official celebration of the Nutrition Month. All students were asked to wear a fruit and vegetable costume. Kuya was dressed in grape costume plus a salakot surrounded by different kinds of fruits. The students were supposed to march in a short parade within the Barangay but it was cancelled due to rainy weather. A program and awarding ceremony was conducted by the Class Adviser together with the Barangay Chairman and the PTA Officers. An award was given for the Best in Costume, Best in Slogan and Most Healthy Student. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any. Although this kind of activity involves a strenuous preparation, it is indeed an enjoyable experience for us parents being part of the event.
