We ride MTR from Tsim Sha Tsui to Lai King. Then switched to “Orange” MTR Line to transport from Lai King to Tung Chung. The weather that day is so cold and foggy.
From Tung Chung, we transport to Ngong Ping via cable car ride . We bought the crystal clear cabin roundtrip tickets (30 minutes each way). The crystal cabin is more expensive than the standard cabin because the cabin’s floor is glass. We didn’t experience a clear view of Lantau Island due to a thick fog.

Our cable car ride view is much clearer on our way back to Tung Chung. We were able to see the amazing sights of Lantau Island below.
The view of Victoria harbor along Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront is breathtaking. We also watched the symphony of lights along the harbour front in between Avenue of Stars and the Hongkong Cultural Center.
We ended our tour by having dinner in one of dimsum and noodle houses in Tsim Sha Tsui.
