NANNY PROBLEM

I thought we had already gone through with this kind of problem before...

During my two boys toddler years, nannies came in and out of our house. I couldn't even remember how many times we have changed and hired a nanny. I even thought of resigning my job in hopeless cases of finding one. But we couldn't afford yet that to happen...not even at this time.

The dilemma recurred about more than a month ago. Our helper/nanny for years now left us for personal reasons. And this cause us no choice but to find her a replacement. We are actually struggling with this predicament until now.

It is not easy for any parent leaving the kids to a total stranger but hope we could find a qualified one whom I would entrust my kids.

I can totally identify with you. Via's first nanny was my cousin but she left for a job sa mjnisipyo. She recommended her neighbor, 22 years old pero super super okay. She was with us more than a year but got preggy. The replacement recommended again by my cousin. This one is 50s. From the beginning ayoko na sana sya. So many issues, so many requests, off every weekend overnight. I let it all go because at the very least she was good to my daughter. Recently I learned my cousin left her job sa munisipyo and I asked if she wanted to come back. Thankfully she's coming back next week.

I remember a time when my parents would go through nannies that I don't even bother to know their names cause I know that they'll be gone soon.

It is definitely hard but I hope you find your perfect nanny.

Oh I do hope you find a good nanny soon. This is exactly the reason why I left work and is hesitant to go back. It's very hard to find someone who you can trust with your precious cubs. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you ;-)

That has been my dilemma also, but I'm glad I was given the chance to work at home. I get to see what my son does while I work and I get to see how the yaya takes care of my son, too.
