For weeks we’ve been lighting more and more candles on this wreath in preparation to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Tonight we light the final candle, for Jesus, the Light of the World, has come.
Hubby is assigned to light all candles including the center white candle on Christmas Eve dinner.
The fifth white center candle which is called as the “Christ” candle, symbolizes the light that the birth of Christ has brought into the world.
Happy Birthday Jesus! Our hearts sing with joy and praise today. At this happy season, we rejoice that You came among us. Through your birth and life , you have shown us that we are your people and that we are greatly loved. Help us to remember Christmas all year long by giving to others the gifts of life: HOPE, PEACE, JOY, LOVE, KINDNESS and UNDERSTANDING. Amen!
